Simple loose leaf is run by three siblings, two brothers and a sister. The name of one brother is Andrew who had a life time addiction to black teas. He was the one who invented the idea for a tea subscription box but since the company was created, Simple loose leaf has evolved into so much more than what the company was originally envisioned. Andrew had a degree in Economics and finance from university of Arkansas. He was interested in the small business and believed that small business are the lifeblood of the great country and the passion of Andrew was increasing and developing the next great one in a simple loose leaf.

Andrew’s sister Sarah submitted the idea of red and rooibos teas. Sarah was actually the chief of the two brothers. She works primarily on other projects but also helps at simple leaf.

Last but not the least one,, the youngest of the siblings Nicholas who’s favorite teas are lightly scented greens, jasmine and magnolia. He was one partner in crime with the Andrews, he was the one who helped a lot in simple loose leaf being transformed from a wisp of an idea and converted into the only tea club which provide such a unique collection of teas and a premium members benefit package.

Can I customize the teas I get or request specific teas each month?

The company doesn’t offer a way to customize your tea box for each shipment.  Simple loose leaf has  chosen to not offer customization so we can partner with a local non profitable developmental workplace which is named as Bost. They offer educational services and employment opportunities for local Arkansans with developmental disabilities.  For company to be able to partner with them, and the community they serve, the company had to figure out ways to keep the tee boxes as simple as possible.

How much tea do I get each month?

Simple Loose Leaf sends out 40 grams of tea with each monthly membership. There will be 4 unique teas in each shipment with 10 grams of each tea sent in resalable bags for the customers.
